2023 OVF College Commitments
OVF Alliance proudly announces the addition of 18 players to the list of OVF alumni who have moved on to the college ranks. Previous Alliance Executive Director Logan Hoffman and Simon Date recently reflected on the accomplishments of the group of OVF players whose careers take them into college play.
When Hoffman was asked about his thoughts on this year's class he responded, "With 12 boys and 4 girls in the 2022 class moving on to play collegiate soccer, OVF continues to prove it is one of the best club's in the state of Oregon at developing and promoting college-ready players onto the next level. If you have ambitions to take this step, there really is no better club to play from in the state than OVF Alliance."
Coach Date added, "We are extremely excited to be seeing both our fledgling OVF Women's team, and Project 23 teams produce collegiate-bound athletes so quickly. The exposure these young women have, coupled with the level of coaching and lessons they receive, place the OVF Alliance club experience among the best in the state. As collegiate programs kick off this week it’s exciting to hear the stories our athletes are having as you read this article."
Looking beyond the upcoming season Hoffman is encouraged with the prospect of many of these players returning to play with the Alliance in the future. He stated, "We're excited to watch these players through the fall as they continue their soccer experience at the collegiate level..."
