OVF Indoor Soccer League

Indoor Soccer is a fantastic way to play with friends, get some good exercise and enjoy the
beautiful game. Indoor soccer is a great developmental tool by creating small-sided
opportunities for players to get a very high number of repetitions on the ball in a short
amount of time.

We will staff the games with OVF Club coaches who not only referee the games, but
provide some positive input, and very light feedback to help the players learn in a fun and
safe environment. Last year we had over 200 players.

U9-10 Pre-Competitive Program

OVF Alliance hosts U9-U10 Pre-Competitive Development Program teams in both Albany and Corvallis! Curriculums and coaching are the same within both programs and overseen by the OVF Alliance senior coaching staff (Directors of Coaching & Technical Advisors).

EXPERT COACHING AND PROVEN METHODS TO START YOUR SOCCER JOURNEY THE RIGHT WAY.

OVF Alliance's U9-U10 Pre-Competitive Development Program and teams are community based programs with team options in both Albany and Corvallis. However, teams within this program also begin to compete regionally against other soccer clubs from Eugene, Salem, and Bend to give our players their first experience against outside competition.

This 8-month commitment for our U9-U10 teams includes two 8-game league seasons (Mid July-Mid Nov. & Feb.-May) with 2 practices per week as well as possible friendly games and tournaments during these timeframes.

Based on ability and work ethic our U10 Academy players may also have the opportunity to train and play up with our U11 teams and may be invited to play in special tournaments and events combining the top players from each community program as the group prepares to make the move to our U11 Competitive program the following year.

Cost: $845

THE ALLIANCE DIFFERENCE

OVF Alliance is the only full service soccer club in the greater Willamette Valley that utilizes an integrated club model which requires the use of standardized curriculums, coaching methodologies, and a unified style of play that emphasizes purposeful possession. This creates a clear path and progression for all of our players from 5 years old through to our high school-aged and senior-level teams.

INTERESTED IN JOINING?

We are always looking for players who have a passion for the game, a great work ethic, and a competitive nature. All dedicated players are welcome on our U9 & U10 Pre-Competitive Academy Teams. If you are interested please contact us!

U11-U19 Competitive Program

Navy, White, and Burgundy vs. Academy: What's the Difference?

U11-U19 "Navy, White, and Burgundy" TEAMS

TEAMS THAT PROVIDE APPROPRIATE COMPETITION WITH A "COMMUNITY & FUN" FOCUS.

This program recognizes that not every player strives to play at the highest levels possible, and that often other factors like friends, community, and fun are significant factors in the decision to play soccer.

  • OVF Alliance Navy, White, and Burgundy teams play in the OYSA Division 1 or Division 2 league depending on team ability.
  • OVF Alliance Navy, White, and Burgundy teams are selected through our tryout process, and feature players that may need more development before being considered for an Academy team.
    • If necessary based on available player pool numbers, some Navy, White, and Burgundy teams may be dual age group teams (ex. combined U11 & U12).
    • Navy, White, and Burgundy teams will train 2 times a week.
    • Navy, White, and Burgundy teams may also train with Academy teams during certain times of the year.

U11-U19 "Academy" TEAMS

PROVIDING THE HIGHEST LEVELS OF TRAINING & COMPETITION TO OUR MOST DRIVEN PLAYERS.

Our Academy program provides a platform for top players to continually challenge themselves against the best competition in training and games.

  • OVF Alliance Academy teams are selected through our tryout process, and feature the top players within our player pool.
  • OVF Alliance Academy teams play in the OYSA State Premier League and may compete within the USYSA National League if the team qualifies.
  • OVF Alliance Academy  teams split their practice/training sessions between Corvallis and Albany to fairly accommodate players from all communities. This varies during the year depending on venue access and condition.
  • Academy teams will train 3 times a week and have the opportunity to attend more tournaments than the standard competitive teams.
  • There will be an additional fee for players who are selected to play at this level.

Regardless of whether you play in the Navy, White, and Burgundy or Academy program, our U11-U19 soccer teams compete through Oregon Youth Soccer Association, and should expect to travel for approximately 5 games each season. These teams will also play in selected tournaments throughout the course of their 8-months of play, and Academy teams may also compete in USYSA National League events if they qualify.

This 8-month commitment for our U11-U14 teams includes 2, 10-game league seasons (Mid July-Mid November; Mid January - Mid May) with 2 practices a week, competition in State Cup or Presidents Cup, and additional tournaments in Late July, and August as well as our annual Alliance Club Friendlies.

Due to the High School Season in the fall, our U15-U19 teams only play 6 months (December - Mid June; 2-week winter break) including one 10-game league season (January-April), State Cup or President's Cup (April-May), and 1-2 additional tournaments (May-June). Our high school teams will practice 2-3 days per week. However, we are also planning to have summer training sessions as well as a summer tournament before the start of high school team training.

Our Academy U15-U19 teams may also compete in USYSA National League events if they qualify, and choose to play in College Showcase tournaments throughout the Far West Region to gain exposure to college coaches.

Since our players have the opportunity to get in 125+ training days and over 25 games during these 8 months, our club tries to take the month of May OFF (i.e. no tournaments) whenever possible to avoid player burnout and allow for quality family time. Please keep in mind that this is not always possible, particularly with our older teams who may be competing in regionals or College Showcases at this time. If you are committing to a team competing at these levels, you are committing to participate in these events.

INTERESTED IN PLAYING?

We are always looking for players who have a passion for the game, a great work ethic, and a competitive nature. If you are interested then we will provide you with a trial opportunity where you will be evaluated by the coaching staff to determine if this is the right opportunity for you. Please contact our Technical Director, Blake Leamy, at [email protected].
